What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

This is the computer i used for the whole of my media project. its a Apple Imac. they are very useful and helpful for designing and using photoshop. they have helped me progress through the whole of the media project because they are so simple and helpful to use.

 This is the camera i used through out the whole project. this is actually an Apple Iphone 4s. the only reason i used this camera instead of one of the ones that the college offered was because they take a very good picture and it was very easy then to email the original image straight to the computer i was using. this is a very helpful feature and made the whole process a lot quicker and easier to use.

The program i used for the whole of the media course was this one. its called Adobe Photoshop CS5 its a very easy to use photo editing program and really helped me along the way. there are lots of functions and tools you can use in photoshop but a very big one that i used quite a lot would be the brightness and contrast tools these are very easy to use and create a very different effect on the picture or image you are editing. also another great function of Photoshop is the fact that you have things on several different layers so it makes using the software and navigating your way around the project you are working on very easy.

i used a lot of things through out the whole of my media coursework but i have only added the most important ones up to here. but we also used lots of other tools like Blogger to blog everything we made in media and also Flickr to do a lot of analysis of images and real media products. All of these tools helped the process go a lot smoother and would be very difficult to do it without them.

Also for this project i used blogger and flickr to devlop the project and to save all of my pieces of work i made externally. i think using Blogger and Flickr instead of just simple writing an essay is a much more effective way of doing things because that way you cant ever loose work if you have written it all down, so its always there. Also i think its really good using Flickr and Blogger to store all my work and present it this way because you can present it and make it look so much nicer than you could if you where just writing an essay  of drawing your pictures.
