Music Magazine Research, The Industry

The Magazine industy is dominated by four main publishers, they are;
1, Bauer
2, IPC Media
3, Dennis
4, NatMags

Bauer publish these music magazines Kerrang, Q and Mojo.

IPC Media publish these music magazines NME and Uncut.

Dennis don't publish any Music Magazine.

NatMags also don't publish any Music Magazine.

In the UK there are currently around about 22 music magazines.

The music magazines target all audiences in the UK from young girls and boys to the older generation and there style of music. For example the magazine 'Kerrang' targets the younger generation of goths, emos and rockers. whereas 'Q' could target absolutely anyone intrested in music as it covers a lot of styles of music.
