Audience research

 

 

 For my audience research i had to create a questionairre to find out about peoples preferences when it comes to music magazines. i set out asking questions about whether people liked to see different types of things in their magazine, and if so what they liked to see in the magazine. I did this buy using a website called survey monkey to create my questionairre and then i emailed it out to people and asked them to do the questionnaire.

From my questionairre i found out that most people would like to see some sort of fashion in the magazine related to the genre of music that i have chosen to do my magazine about. I also found out how much people would be willing to spend on a music magazine, i found out that most people would spend between £2-3 on a magaizne, also that they would much rather the magazine to come out weekly rather that monthly and many more questions and answers that i will examine and turn that audience research into ideas when coming to make my music magazine.
I could of made my audience research better by changing some of the questions i asked in my questionairre and making some of them more relevant. for example i dont think that the question about how they where was entirely relevant and didnt need to be asked, i should of asked some more relevant questions surronding the genre and my music magazine
